Everything Ryxa AI captures is processed locally first. The audio, the video, the transcriptions, the insights. Your glasses handle the immediate processing on device, extracting what matters and storing everything encrypted on hardware you control.

When cloud processing adds value, like for more complex analysis or cross-device sync, your data travels encrypted and remains under your control. We use the cloud as a tool that serves you, not as a data collection pipeline that serves us. No corporate server farm mining your memories. No business model that depends on monetizing your information.

This approach is slower to develop and more technically complex. It would be easier to funnel everything through our servers. But easier for us would mean worse for you, and that's not a trade we're willing to make.

Encryption as Standard, Not Optional

Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Not because you enabled some advanced setting, but because that's how the system works out of the box. Encryption isn't a premium feature or a checkbox buried in settings. It's the default state.

If your glasses are lost or stolen, the data they contain is useless to anyone but you. If someone intercepts a sync between your glasses and your phone, they get encrypted gibberish. Access requires your authentication, and your authentication alone.

You Control What Gets Remembered

Ambient intelligence doesn't mean surrendering control. Ryxa AI includes granular privacy controls that let you define what gets captured and what doesn't. Pause recording when you enter a private conversation. Exclude specific locations. Delete segments you don't want stored. Set automatic deletion schedules for sensitive contexts.

These aren't afterthoughts. They're core features. We recognize that continuous recording creates continuous responsibility. You need the power to define boundaries, and we need to respect them without question.

No Ads, No Data Monetization

Our business model is straightforward: you pay for the product, we build you the best ambient intelligence system possible. We don't sell your attention to advertisers. We don't package your behavioral data for third parties. We don't have a "free tier" subsidized by surveillance.

This alignment matters. When your data becomes someone else's revenue stream, your interests and theirs diverge. We keep them aligned by charging you directly for the value we deliver. Nothing more, nothing less.
