Our Privacy Principles

Everything captured belongs to you. You control what's kept, what's deleted, and who has access. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We can't access your recordings without your explicit permission.

You always know what's being captured, when it's being processed, and where it's being stored.

How It Works

Audio and visual context goes directly to secure storage on your device, encrypted immediately. Nothing leaves your glasses without your control.

Ryxa AI automatically identifies what matters. Routine small talk gets discarded. Important meetings are kept indefinitely. You set the policies.

Some features require cloud processing for advanced AI analysis or cross-device sync. These are opt-in only. You choose whether convenience is worth it.

Delete a conversation? It's gone completely. No backups. When you delete, we delete.

What About Other People's Privacy?

This is the harder question. Ryxa AI captures your conversations, but those conversations include people who didn't consent to recording.

The glasses have clear, visible indicators showing when recording is active. You can pause recording instantly with one button. AI can identify sensitive contexts like healthcare settings or legal discussions and prompt you to pause automatically. We're building Ryxa AI to comply with recording consent laws in different jurisdictions.

This isn't solved perfectly. No one has solved it perfectly. But we're approaching it thoughtfully.

Security

Secure enclaves protect encryption keys. Even if someone steals your glasses, they can't access your data without authentication. Access to recordings requires biometric authentication. No one else can view your captured content.

When cloud features are enabled, all data transmission uses end-to-end encryption.

What We Don't Do

We don't sell your data. Ever. Our business model is hardware and software subscriptions, not monetizing your information.

We don't train AI on your conversations. Your data stays private. We don't share with third parties. No advertisers. No data brokers. We don't create backdoors for anyone.

The Trade-offs

Complete privacy means no ambient intelligence. We've chosen user control over minimization. Ryxa AI captures more than necessary because we can't predict what will matter. But you control everything.

Some competitors capture less but send everything to the cloud. We believe local-first is better.
